I have so many connections with Joe's family, going back to when his father and my dad taught together at Bishop Ward. Dr. Passantino is now the President of Bishop Miege, which if you have been reading the past few blog posts you know is where I went to high school (GO STAGS!). Joe's brother John was in my class at Miege and one of my good friends. My mom works at Miege with Dr. Passantino. I take pictures of the kiddies at Children's Garden, the montessori preschool of Joe's mother, Jean. Whew--I think that's it.
Faith is very important to the couple, and their beautiful ceremony at the Holy Trinity chapel conveyed that. They blended traditional Mexican wedding elements (Gabby is originally from Mexico) into the Catholic ceremony, making it unique to them. There was a great sense of community among Joe and Gabby, their families, and all the guests, and you could tell that the people there had a great deal of admiration and respect for Joe and Gabby.
