SNAP Photography: Nicole + Patrick

We had so much fun shooting Nicole + Patrick's wonderful TWO-DAY wedding extravaganza. Day 1 was at the incomparable Powell Gardens, where they had a small ceremony at dusk. The light was SO pretty! Then they had a delicious dinner for everyone at the Michael Smith restaurant. Day 2 was a larger reception at Berg Event Space. Nicole was able to dedicate a ton of time for photos before, which of course I loved, and we went all over---Kauffman Gardens, City Market, downtown. It was also a good opportunity for their many out-of-town (and country, including Australia and Jamaica!) to see some of the sights of Kansas City.

As involved as the whole thing sounds, it really ended up being such a heartfelt and lovely wedding. You could not ask for a better group of people, and I truly enjoyed photographing the whole thing for them.

Once again, the vendors we worked with were so great. We even got to work with two of my faves, Neil and Drue at Blue Bouquet! They did an awesome job with the flowers and decorations on this wedding---they looked absolutely amazing!

I must confess---this chair used to belong to my grandmother!! It worked so well with the colors Nicole chose and the backdrop of the long grass. I LOVE these!
