Megan + Kyle - 5.22.10

Megan and Kyle practically grew up together, went to the same middle and high school, but never dated until they reconnected after college while out one night. Photographing their wedding, it is clear that they were always meant to be together. Their temperaments and attitudes fit each other so well, and you can tell just by looking at them how much they are in love.

Megan set the record for earliest I've ever been booked, contacting me nearly two years ago for her wedding. She was in the midst of medical school, and wanted to get everything set for her wedding early so she could focus on her studies (She graduated only one week before the wedding---Congrats Dr. Bing!) In fact, in between the time she booked and the wedding, I moved to Brookside, not far from where they were living! Now they will be moving to Iowa for Megan to complete her residency, but it was good to be neighbors for awhile! :)

For getting everything set up long ago, she could not have picked more beautiful spots and great vendors. The ceremony was at the gorgeous Rose Garden at Loose Park, and the reception is at one of the newer reception spots, Terrace on Grand, which has AMAZING views of downtown (as you will soon see below!)

Megan's beautiful dress was made by her aunt (talk about one of a kind!) and the flowers were done by Craig Sole. He really outdid himself here, they look fantastic!.

Megan and Kyle picked out some really great details, like Kyle's tie here.

Megan made a truly beautiful bride. Her eyes just pop from the picture! I swear, I didn't even have to edit that!

I love when grooms show a little emotion! Aww!

Love this, love everything about it.

After the ceremony we headed over to Charlie Hooper's, where Megan and Kyle love to hang. I got in a tad bit of trouble for standing on a chair to take pictures of the toast (they run a pretty tight ship there at Hooper's!) but I actually love this ground level pic taken by Anna.

WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THESE VIEWS!! AMAZING!!!

I love when couples have bands at their reception. It just adds something. This one was no exception---did a great job.

Congrats Megan & Kyle!! Good luck in Iowa!
