The Baska family has been through a difficult few weeks. We have lost my two in-laws, John and Virginia, to cancer within a week of each other. They will be dearly missed. Will loved watching birds in the yard with Grandpa Baska. Grandpa always got the kids juice, chips, cookies, and all other number of treats and goodies at Grandma's urging. Grandma Baska would read book after book to the kids, and listen to them talk and remember the silly things they said. Brad and I spent many hours sitting in the backyard with John & Virginia drinking and talking Wyandotte county politics among other things. They were complete opposites--John the soft spoken and serious one; Virginia the more loud and rambunctious. But they made the perfect pair. And they stuck together through it all.
Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. And please pray for all those affected by cancer.
