My baby sister Caitlin was one of my very first photography subjects. I used to put her and Anna in totally contrived poses and practice my art...ha. Caitlin left last week as a PeaceCorps volunteer to Ukraine. She will spend the next 27 months serving others halfway across the world. We are going to miss her so much. When she gets home Will will be 6 and Stella will be nearly 4!! That is so hard to believe! I know she is following her heart and I am so proud of her.
And here, in honor of Caitlin, is some never-before-seen early work of yours truly...
This was in our backyward in Colby. Classic Tricia pose---in front of flowers. I guess some things never change!
Again in our Colby backyward. Those sunglasses have come back in style--can you believe it! And check out Anna's scuffed knees! Reminds me of my kids!
Anna says she remembers me pulling her hair in front of her face..again, some things never change!!
The three girls, 17 years later at Caitlin's going away party. Is it any wonder that I now own a photography studio and Anna is my assistant??
