HAWKS WIN BIG!

I think I have mentioned before that my dad is the men's basketball coach at Rockhurst University (and he happens to be the 3rd winningest coach in Rockhurst history---but don't ask me who is 1st or 2nd or how far off my dad is because I have no idea...). Anyway, this weekend I had the opportunity to go up to Chicago with the team to play Loyola University, a Division I team who was heavily favored to win the game. Well, Rockhurst pulled off a HUGE upset, winning 86-79! It was so exciting, especially because we had a great crowd of players' families, former players of my dad's who were able to come to the game, and the numerous O'Connors who traveled from as far away as Denver.

CONGRATS HAWKS (and Dad)! We're looking forward to a successful season!
